About Cat Cognition
Cat Cognition translates feline ethology research into practical guidance for cat owners. Founded in 2024 by former psychologist Adam Gill, we bridge the gap between academic animal behavior science and everyday cat care.
Our Approach
Every piece of content is grounded in peer-reviewed research, veterinary science, and established ethological principles. We avoid anthropomorphism and folk wisdom in favor of evidence-based explanations of cat behavior.
What We Cover
- Cat Behavior — Why cats do what they do, explained through evolutionary biology and ethology
- Cat Care — Science-backed guidance on health, nutrition, and enrichment
- Cat Communication — Decoding vocalizations, body language, and scent signals
- Cat Cognition — What research reveals about feline intelligence and perception
